The sponsors of the college namely Nehru College of Educational and Charitable Trust have provided excellent infrastructure facilities ,Class rooms, seminar hall, well equipped information centre ,Workshop and Laboratories, etc., with the aim to meet the demands of the world class institution
This is a HiTech college with Wi Fi facilities. This college is approved by all India council of Technical Education , New Delhi and Government of Kerala and affiliated to University of calicut . All 480 seats have been filled-up. I am very much impressed by the high academic standards, enthusiasm of the fresh first year students. As the first principal, I take the responsibility with all seriousness to see that the learning process of the students is carefully executed and that we shall do every thing possible for their overall development
We have already developed advanced laboratories, Workshops for all the senior classes to be run in the coming years. Committees have been formed for organization and conduct of the sports, cultural activities and staff training program. We have acquired four live air craft namely, CESSNA 152, ERCOUPE recently,LEARJET 25B, HELICOPTER (ENSTORM F28A). This adds a cutting edge to our institution.
We have to start meaningful industry-institute interaction for mutual benefits. This should facilitate our faculty in a big way. We may be able to offer continuing education programs to work with the professionals and developmental activities on areas of current interest. We propose to be part of professional societies t national and international levels from which the students and faculty may get benefits. A beginning has been made in all these directions and I am very sure with hard work of the staff, students and support of management, we can achieve many more things in the years to come.
